Job Summary:
The Regional Human Resources Manager manages the administration of HR policies, procedures,
standards and programs to support departmental development, employee relations, training and
development, compensation, organization development, recruitment and employment in a designated
region.
Compensation: $85,000 - $90,000 / year
Work Location: Coon Rapids, MN

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human
resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are compliant
• Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions, primarily full-time roles,
as needed and/or works in close partnership with management to determine hiring needs and
strategies for dedicated region. Serves as an extension of region to Talent Acquisition to ensure
staffing goals are met
• Develops, improves and audits new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward
company goals and maintain high conversation rates for hires : worked
• Develops and/or relays thorough training and development of management in various focuses to
include, but not limited to; interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review,
safety, workers compensation, and sexual harassment
• Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues; handles
investigations with high regard to confidentiality and strong documentation
• Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs from designated region(s)
• Investigates workplace accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier as well as all necessary
follow-up and preventative improvements
• Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to
determine reasons behind separations
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
• Up to 25% travel required
Minimum Qualifications:
• Excellent self-management, problem solving, strategic skills
• Customer Focus – Maintaining awareness and seeking to meet the needs and wants of the internal
and external customers
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Initiative – Engages in proactive behavior and looks for new project opportunities to improve
existing processes and procedures
• Adaptability – Responds effectively to changes in situation or information
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of two to four years’ experience in a similar role with management responsibilities
• Experience in one or more of the following industries preferred: event staffing, security, sports
management, athletics, staffing
• Ability to pass a background check
• Human Resources certification preferred (SPHR, PHR)
Physical and Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, it is required to sit, stand, walk, talk or hear. On occasion, it may
be required to climb and work in high places, stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. Position may also
require work in confined spaces and exposure to different types of outdoor weather conditions.
Must occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include
close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Working Environment:
The position is an office-based position with frequent requirements to work at or attend scheduled events
in an outdoor environment.
